    is is just me, or does amazing spiderman sound like ultimate spiderman from shattered dimensions?

    Yup.
    In SD: Josh Keaton from Spectacular Spider-Man played Ultimate and now in Edge, he plays Amazing.
    Also, Christopher Daniel Barnes from Spider-Man the animated series plays Noir in SD and now plays 2099 in Edge
