AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA I AM AMAZING

Months ago 4ever issued a challenge for people to find a permadeath game, well i have done it, and am there fore amazing. Whats that you say 'finding an easy game to find several months after a challenge is issued does not make you amazing', lies i say.

And so i give you http://www.realmofthemadgod.com/

Its pretty fun, i've played it a little, though not a great amount. It's basically a Co-op mmo permadeath game. You start off as a wizard, you then unlock the preist if you can reach level 5 on the wizard without dying, if you reach level five with the priest you then unlock the archer and it goes on. What suprises me about this game is how permadeath is so central to it. To change classes you have to die, then you are awarded fame points for how well you did and spend them in this heaven place which you go to each time you start a new adventure. Unfortunately it seemed quite laggy to me, this could have just been me, but anyway it is very fun and different to a normal game where dieing has little to no consequences.

A Batman game that isn't quite Batman

Crazy? You bet. Fun? Looks like it.
I am generally not a fan of FPS game, with the notable exceptions of GoldenEye, Metroid Prime and Halo (who isn't a fan of halo?) But this game is a little different. It's called: Gotham City Imposter's. Remember the beginning of The Dark Knight? Batman had to subdue a bunch of gun wielding goons dressed as the caped crusader himself. They were trying to protect the city in his image, but with all the wrong ideas. This is an online Multiplayer only shooter which has caught my interest and I hope it delivers.

apps i'm playing- terfle

It's an undeniable fact of life that i should make more posts, i should but i really don't. So here is one of those rare occurrences where i actually do make one.

Tiny Tower, this would probably be the best free app i have seen, it is very addictive and best of all, you do not need to make in app purchases at all. The game revovles around you, building a tower and generating money. You basically control everything about the tower, who lives in your tower, what the floors will be used for, who gets a job where, that sort of stuff. The game itself looks a bit complicated but is actually quite simple, you build residential floors to house bitizens (dev pun), then build shops for them to work in so that you can make money to build more floors. It is surprisingly fun, and it keeps going while you aren't playing it, which is good for when you want to sell lots and not have to watch. Each Bitizen has a dream job and if you get them their dream job then they will give you all kinds of bonuses. If you are very lazy and have plenty of itunes credit then you can use it to get money, but it is by no means essential.

Pocket God, this app is one of the biggest on the app store, it has been going for a huge amount of time and remains being awesome, something not many games can claim. Every time it updates i seem to find myself playing it again, but this most recent update is different. Pocket God has many different mini games, but the newest one, battle of the gods is far bigger than the others, you have to fight using the idols you found last update, strangely though for some reason when i updated it gave me every idol, even the new one that you get this update. One of the things i like about Pocket God is that it lets you customize a fair bit, you can name yourself and each one of your pygmies, I named mine alphonse, algernon, alfonzo, pickles, jimmy and winston because those are the coolest names in existance.

Hard lines
Hard lines is an interesting game, it lets you play a few different games, like snake, that one in tron and several that they have though up them selves, to make it more interesting the lines make lots of jokes or witty comments that are usually actually funny. Most of the games focus on trying to make other lines hit you, while at the same time making sure that you don't hit any lines your self. Though there is one power up which makes your line flash red and you become invincible, your line then screams "IM CHUCK NORRIS". It is very entertaining and a smart idea for an app.

Call of Duty Black Ops single player

Two weekends ago, I had the misfortune of playing through the entire Call of Duty Black Ops campaign. It's a piece of garbage. Where do I start...? Oh yes, the story, or what you can make of story that the game offers you. Basically, the storytelling is done by playing flashback sequences while being interrogated. It sounds cool, but this means the story is done in loud flashes where you have no idea what is going on. There's a few pictures on the screen flashing and sounds bites which are all done over the top over each other making it impossible to hear or see anything. When you do understand what is going on, it's still a terrible story. It's far too dramatic for something trying to be realistic and while to voice acting is quite good, they voices are mostly drowned in the constant explosions and yelling of "SEMTEX!" which certainly doesn't help the story. There are a few cool ideas in the story, like this gas called Nova 6 which is a variation of the gas used in the Nazi concentration camps (while it's cool, it's also slack) but aside from that, you have a plot which is about an evil scientist trying to brainwash a solider into killing the president. Realistic? I think not. Another area which the game fails to deliver is the graphics. The graphics are dreadful with poor models of characters and close up shots reveal the all to obvious pixels. The environments are also poorly rendered and stale and the explosions are just awful. I've seen better graphics on Wii.

Now for the most disappointing thing about the game. The actual gameplay. IT'S TOO EASY. It requires little to no strategy at all and when you are forced to do something which may require any skill at all, like breaking out of a lab before Nova 6 is released, the game just holds your hand tightly and just shows you what to do. Say you have to break down a door, you're thinking "Hrmm. How do I knock this door down?" When suddenly, your teammate says: "Shoot the hinges" And if you can't understand basic speech, the hinges on the door start flashing bright yellow just in case you needed more help. I was playing on veteran. VETERAN! Veteran is supposed to be the hardest difficulty in the game. It's not just stuff like that which is too easy, the gunplay is too simple. It really doesn't matter which weapon you have, just as long as it can fire, it should be fine for taking out any type of enemy. Enemy A.I. is dumb, almost as dumb as the unhelpful friendly A.I. who will always be getting in the way of your line of sight and shooting the wrong enemy and basically zigging when they really should zag. That coupled with the fact that it's hard to tell which gun slinging soldier is on your team or not makes for some poor action. I once busted down the door and closed my eyes, held the left trigger, the right trigger and moved the right trigger around a bit and when I opened my eyes, every enemy in the room was dead.

You may be asking: "Why 4EVER did you play that dreadful game in the first place?" I'll tell you why. After the credits rolled, this scene came up.

Minecraft Aether mod, the doctor's thoughts and advice

To begin with, this Mod is Awsome! the way it was made, it feels like it fits the game perfectly.

The aether is much like the Nether, but its easier to see and there are no ghasts. Just demon cluds that shoot snowballs at you that can knocjk you off the landformations. and Cockatrices. They shoot poison at you.
Anyway, My advice. Build your base near you portal, if not next to it. This way, you can leave and enter the aether whenever you want. If you have the too many items mod,use it if you want, but If you want to be a hardcore aether explorer, don't use it.
WHAT TO TAKE: a crafting table, diamond armor and a diamond sword. these items are the only useful NON-AETHER items for the mod.
MOAS- moas are one of the few ways t get around the aether. there are three types:
blu moas can flap 3 times in the air and are the quickest to raise
white moas can flap 4 times in the air
black moas can flap 5 times in the air and are the slowest to raise.
The mod also features new types of dungeons that have bosses. along with these bosses are new items that cannot be crafted or found anywhere else other than as rewards for completing aether dungeons. watch this video explaining all the new items and armor

Dear God, Spider-Man what have they done to you?

Looks like the hero needs saving from a totally new kind of evil. CROSSOVERGAMES!

The Doctor's Game Reviews#2: Kingdom hearts Birth by Sleep

Kingdom hearts Birth by sleep is the first and only Kingdom hearts game on the Sony PSP. In this game, you take control of the three keyblade weilders: Terra, Ventus and Aqua. The game is not officially complete until after all three stories for the characters are complete.(1 per character). In the traditional Kingdom hearts style, the game is a non-turn based RPG. your goal is to NOT destroy the menace of the heartless, however. You are fighting enemies known as the unversed(basically the same thing). The game features many new worlds, such as deep space(from Lilo and Stitch) and old ones such as radiant garden and Neverland.

Before you say "this game sounds stupid," Just wait. The game is very much like its predecessors, BRILLIANT! negatives, The controlls are slightly different from previous games. scrolling through commands can get you killed sometimes, but this difficulty can be overcome.

Positives, The graphics are rather good for a handheld game, as well as the music and gameplay. The storyline can get a bit confusing at times, but hey, it is much, much easier to understand than the zelda timeline. Another welcome feature in this game mis the return of reaction commands! They make your life so much easier and are also not necessary to use(except in the final boss fight of the Ven storyline).

The sad thing is that this game is one of the rare good games on the PSP.

PS what? I've never head of that before!
