Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock Holmes is awesome. Awesome movies. Awesome TV series. Awesome books. SO PLEASE, PLEASE VIDEO GAMES! DO NOT RUIN HOLMES FOR ME! I know now there is a Sherlock Holmes video game which will be unveiled at E3, but I have so many doubts. For one, releasing a game on the height of a character's popularity is akin to making a movie tie in game. Cashing in on something while it's being talked about. I loved the Sherlock Holmes movies and BBC TV series, so this had better now ruin him now. If the gameplay is something like L.A. Noire, then it might be impressive, but if it turns out like one of those CSI games, then fond memories of Sherlock Holmes will evaporate. So...video games...I'm asking you nicely. Please don't kill him.
